This blog was founded on the love of art, intentionally or unintentionally created as such. We’ve gathered a group of creative types, who search outside themselves for artistic insight and inspiration. Join us as we pool our findings together in this gallery, this think tank, this support group—heck, if you’ve got a beer in your hand, its a bar as well.
Pull up a stool. Your tribe just got a little bigger.
Just a few great examples of re-use art from Chicago-based Jessica Joslin. She assembles her creatures from antique hardware, bones, and whatever else she happens upon. This show, Clockwork Circus, opens tonight at Billy Shire Fine Arts gallery in Los Angeles.
I can't understand why people have birds as pets. They are not cuddly, they are noisy as hell, typically not friendly (and why would they be, they HAD the ability to fly elegantly through the heavens, going where they please until someone mutalated them) this done so they could stay in a space relative to you living in your bathroom your whole life.
But these birds are good and dead (enhanced with battle gear) so enjoy!
