Joe Sorren, hands down, is one of my favorite contemporary painters. Every aspect of his collections is done exceptionally well—intriguing subjects, mythical color palettes, painterly brush work—and with such precision. Each decision to exaggerate certain aspects of his forms is spot on. However, it is much more than his technical abilities that resonate with me. The strokes have life and movement, giving entire pieces an energy that feels so alive and breathtaking. Truly amazing work, Joe, thank you.
